I received this project from one of my doctors. His name is Eugene Lipov and he started writing a couple children books about health and learning about certain organs of the body. The first character of his book series is Captain Heart followed by Super Brain. Captain Heart is a cartoon character who takes the reader to learn all about the heart and how to have a healthy heart. The reader can do puzzles, mazes, and do trivia questions to learn about the heart. The same is for Super Brain and what is needed to have great functionally brain.
Dr. Lipov wanted to bring his books into a video game form to reach young children. He even wants to take this game and bring into grade schools. He brought this to my attention last summer when I was working on my mid-term project. I started working on this project a piece here and there since late November. Now a my team has been formed the real work has now begun.
As of right now what has been completed is: Concept doc, draft of GDD, and mini-game ideas. I'm begun writing music, came up with a list of audio sounds to record, and looking for my voice over talent. I have a couple kids that might do the voice of Billy at my job Maywood Fine Arts. They are in the drama classes there. The doctor and grandpa I have a couple of other friends looking to do the part, but still looking to find the voice for the main characters yet. I will be booking sometime in the studio again at VNote as well working out of my home studio.
